January 22/10 - ROBERTO LÓPEZ is lending his talent for the benefit show for victims of Haiti ENSEMBLE POUR HAÏTI tonight at 8PM on the networks TVA, Société Radio-Canada, Télé-Québec, V Télé, LCN, MusiquePlus et MusiMax, TV5, Espace Musique, Astral Média Radio (NRJ, RockDétente, Boom FM), radio stations from Corus Québec (98,5 FM, CKOI, Souvenirs Garantis) and CPAM, the Haitian radio in Montreal.

To be hosted by Luck Mervil and France Beaudoin, this will be a benefit concert of unprecedented reach in Quebec. Touched by the recent earthquake in Haiti, the community of artists and artisans of these television and radio networks are joining forces to create a one-of-a-kind show that will include original performances and variety numbers by solo artists, but mainly acts by duos and groups.

November 30/09 - ROBERTO LÓPEZ is invited to perform at the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS FESTIVAL. Performing Friday February 26 at 10PM at L'Astral. Roberto López has absorbed the musical flavours of the Americas on his travels, and fashioned his own special Latino and Afro-Cuban sound. After winning over fans at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal in 2008 and FrancoFans this past summer, he returns this winter with his polycultural orchestra and Colombian Salsa Cafe, a full musical serving of the Lopezian repertoire, including his new album Soy Panamericano. September 19/09 - ROBERTO LÓPEZ and CURURA MUSIQUE are proud to announce the release of ROBERTO LÓPEZ PROJECT's 2nd album. Titled SOY PANAMERICANO, the new album will be released with a magical show at the SAVOY du Métropolis in Montreal on Friday October 23rd, 8PM. This new work brings listeners into the territory of the Cumbia-Funk, the Salsa Dura, the Urban Porro Pelayero, the Cumbia-Rai and the Bunde-Currulao. Tickets for the show are available at the Métropolis (59 Saint-Laurent East, Montreal) and through the Ticketpro network starting September 25th.
