LÓPEZ - musical director, tiple, vocals,
gaita hembra (flute), percussions [COLOMBIA]
Roberto has recorded with Colombian pop group Doble
U.C. (Sony Music Colombia), Armenian star Harout Zenian
(PE-KO) and played in and composed for several formations,
including Brazilian bands Matita Peré
and Quilombo (Brazilian popular music), folk singer
Heather McLeod. He founded and directed Grupo Azúka
(salsa/Latin jazz), which performed extensively in the
Montreal area. |

MASSIEL YANIRA - vocals [QUEBEC/EL SALVADOR]
Massiel has a diverse musical background, from classical to popular styles. She has lived in el Salvador, Haiti and Québec, which allowed her to study with Joseph Karl Doetsch (El Salvador/USA), Jan Cubicek (El Salvador), Iwan Edwards (Canada) and Thérèse Sévadjan (Canada). |

ELISA
MONTARULI - vocals, gaita macho (flute) [QUEBEC/ITALY]
Elisa has a classical formation on flute and piano.
After several trips to Cuba and Colombia, she developed an interest
for Latin music, which led her to study with Hermes Cardozo. Her voice transmits the Latin love,
harmonies and energy! |

RUSSO-GARRIDO BOOGAT - rap vocals

Young and innovative, Daniel has two albums and several
awards already under his belt : Mimi's 2005, Gala Montréal
Underground 2005 : best francophone album and best francophone
artist. He also won the ''album of the year'' award
at the Gala Unistar 2005. |

Eduardo studied and teached in Holguín, Cuba
and at the Escuela Nacional de Arte in Havana. He has
recorded with
Jesus el niño Perez and Trabuco Habanero.

the high register of his instrument in the traditional

JOEL MILLER - soprano & tenor sax [NEW-BRUNSWICK]
Joel studied with alto saxophonist Don Palmer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and attended McGill University’s music program. He attended the Banff Jazz Workshop, where he submerged himself in the music and teachings of Kenny Wheeler, Chucho Valdés and Pat Labarbera. Miller’s work with Latin jazz artists and Jazz artists has led to several collaborations including Mozambique musician Zé Maria. |

GÓMEZ -electric bass, vocals [COLOMBIA]
Jairo has performed with ensembles such as Orquesta
de Alfredo de la Fe, Omara Portuondo and the Medellín
Jazz Big Band, Grupo Imagenes with Carlos Averhoff,
Colombian guitarist Gabriel Rondón, Joe Armando's
Orquesta Picante, and Grupo Azuka. He has appeared on
the recordings Los Violines de Alfredo (Alfredo De La
Fe), Imagenes (Hangar Musical) and Entretiempos of Trio
Tres (Hangar Musical). |

MARTIN - congas [QUEBEC]
An accomplished master percussionist, in both Cuban
and Brazilian rhythms, André has performed and
recorded with Georges Rodriguez, Latin Sound, El Clan
Latino, Quebec, ' ta Legal, Bloco LDL, Orun, Saroumbon,
Saramanda, Paulo Ramos, The Merlin Factor, Carlos Placeres,
Monica Freire and Trabuco Habanero. He is a member of
the Jean-François Groulx Quartet and played in
"Amazonas", a concert directed by saxophonist
Jean-Pierre Zanella. |

EUGENIO "KIKO" OSORIO - timbales, batterie [CUBA]
Incredible timbalero, Kiko is a real master and virtuoso percussionist. He has worked with Jesus Alejandro "El Niño", Florence K, Joel Diaz and Alex Bellegarde, to name a few. |
